On this page you will find useful information on how to correctly fill the online application form.

What you need to know about the online application form

The first section of the application form consists of a registration in which you provide your biographical information. After the registration, you will receive within 24 hours a confirmation message on your email address with a username and a password.

With this username and password, you will be able to re-enter the application form and continue with your application, selecting the level and course you are interested in.

Instructions to fill in the online application form

Before beginning the application, make sure that you have obtained all the required information from our website. The time needed to complete the form is approximately 20 minutes. There is no time limit to fill it in and it can be completed in multiple sessions.

Your application will be considered complete and the Politecnico di Torino will be able to process it only when you click on SAVE AND SUBMIT. After submitting the application you will not be able to make any further changes in the form except for some non compulsory fields such as BIOGRAPHICAL DATA, LINGUISTICS SKILLS, WORK EXPERIENCE, EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND and NON COMPULSORY ATTACHMENTS.

In case the applications for the level you are interested in are not open yet, you will see a notice about deadlines.

Depending on the degree level selected, you will be asked to attach specific documents.

It is very important to verify that all the information provided is correct.

Your information will be saved in the database of the Politecnico di Torino and will be handled according to the "Law on the handling of personal information (Legge sul trattamento dei dati personali) Dlgs. 196/2003.".

1 The Portfolio is required for the Master of Science programs in Architettura Costruzione Città, Architettura per il Progetto Sostenibile, Architettura per il Restauro e Valorizzazione del Patrimonio, Design Sistemico..

The above documents (except for Italian University certificates that must be replaced with self-certification) must be official (with the stamp of the Institution which issued them and the signature of the officer in charge) and must be rendered in one of the following languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish or Portuguese.

The Academic Offer A. Y. 2017/18 must be confirmed and will be published in spring 2017. Therefore, your choice is subjected to the launch of the program.

If any programme is activated because not confirmed, eligible students will be informed by email and eventually changed to other programs.

The Politecnico di Torino reserves the right to reject the applications of students who do not meet the minimum requirements for admission to the course selected

All information provided in your application must be accurate, when you submit your application, you will authorize the Politecnico di Torino and its representative offices to carry out any kind of verification of Academic or employment information given in your application:


NOTES FOR EXTRA-EU BACHELOR AND MASTER OF SCIENCE APPLICANTS LIVING ABROAD:

these students must also submit a pre-enrollment application to the Italian Embassy or Consulate in their own country of residence by the deadlines established annually by ministerial regulations on the entry of foreign students in Italian universities.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FOREIGN APPLICANTS WHO ARE UNDER 18 YEARS OLD

According to the Italian law, a person reaches the age of full legal responsibility when he/she is 18 years old.
If you were born after August 15th 1999:
  1. when you ask for the study VISA in the Italian Embassy (if you are a non-European Union student residing outside Italy), your application will have to be subscribed also by your “guardian”, that is by an adult who will be legally responsible for you in Italy and who will guarantee your actions.
    Please notice that the staff of Politecnico is not available for this position:
    the guardian must be selected among your relatives or acquaintances and he must be resident in Italy.

  2. Furthermore, if you are assigned a Politecnico scholarship, you will not be allowed to open a bank account in Italy until you reach the age of 18, unless you appoint someone as your guardian.

  3. For the enrolment your parents must sign an authorization.
