BACHELOR OF SCIENCE

Read carefully the Call for admission to the Bachelor degree for a.y. 2018/19


It is possible to be exempted from admission test if you hold one of these International certifications: SatGreGmat. Please see art. 6 of Calls For Admission To The Bachelor’s Degree Programmes 2018/19 to know more about the minimum scores required.
In order to be granted the exemption form the admission test, you must upload your certification on your Apply@polito personal page, under the “Allegati”/Attachements” section, within 20th July 2018. The result of the assessment will be notified by e-mail no later than 3th August 2018.

In order to register to the Admission Test for the program in Architecture you need to follow the instructions published by MIUR in the related ministerial decree, besides the registration to the Polito online application platform, APPLY@polito. To stay updated on this, please check regularly the following page (translation in English to be published soon).


MASTER OF SCIENCE


Before submitting your application please check that all the information provided are correct!

Your information will be saved in the database of the Politecnico di Torino and will be handled according to the "Law on the handling of personal information (Legge sul trattamento dei dati personali) Dlgs. 196/2003.".

You are required to attach specific documents to your online applications according to the chosen program. Please check the list of required attachments per academic level in the table below (the documents marked with * are compulsory)

Curriculum Vitae*

SAT, GRE, GMAT certificate – if you want to get exempted from the Engineering Admission Test. This document has to be upload within July, 20th 2018. The outcome of the verification process will be available via e-mail not later than August 3rd, 2018. For more information please see art.6 of the Call for admissions to the bachelor’s degree programmes of the engineering area for a.y. 2018/19

Bachelor Degree certificate (in case you don’t hold your Bachelor Degree certificate yet, please attach an official document issued by your current university stating provisional date of graduation or an updated version of your Transcript of Records)

 

Official Transcript of Records*  (in case you have not gradudated yet, attach the most updated version)

Portfolio*  for Ms in the field of Architecture*

English/Italian Language Certificate*, as specified in the Language requirements section, stating grades, date and place. In case you don’t hold the required language certificate yet, but you have already registered for the related examination, please attach the registration receipt. In case you are not yet registered for the examination, please attach a self-certification stating the provisional date of the examination you intend to register for. In any case you MUST upload the required language certification no later than April 12th 2018, otherwise your application will not be considered eligible.

The above documents (except for Italian University certificates that must be replaced with self-certification) must be official (with the stamp of the Institution which issued them and the signature of the officer in charge) and must be in one of the following languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish or Portuguese.

The selection of candidates is also subject to the actual programs offered during the academic year 2018/19.

If the program you chose is not available, you will be promptly notified at the email address on your application form.

NOTES FOR EXTRA-EU BACHELOR AND MASTER OF SCIENCE APPLICANTS LIVING ABROAD:


Students must also submit a pre-enrollment application to the Italian Embassy or Consulate in their own country of residence by the deadlines established annually by ministerial regulations on the entry of foreign students in Italian universities.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FOREIGN APPLICANTS WHO ARE UNDER 18 YEARS OLD


According to the Italian law, a person reaches the age of full legal responsibility when he/she is 18 years old.
If you are born after August 15th 2000:
  1. VISA application at the Italian Embassy (if you are a Non-European Union student residing outside Italy), will have to be subscribed also by your “guardian”, an adult who will be legally responsible for you in Italy and who will guarantee your actions.
    Please note that the staff of Politecnico is not available to do that:
    the guardian must be selected among your relatives or acquaintances and he must be resident in Italy.

  2. If you are assigned with a Politecnico scholarship, you will not be allowed to open a bank account in Italy until you reach the age of 18, unless you appoint someone as your guardian.

  3. Your parents/guardian are required to sign an authorization to allow you enroll in Politecnico. A copy of their identity document i salso required
